Machines I work on

I work on every make. Most of my experience is on European-built machines, and I know some better than others. If yours is new to me, I'll read up on it before the visit. The next one is quicker.

How a job works

  1. You email me.

Tell me the machine and what's wrong. Attach photos if you can.

  2. Written quote.

A fixed price per machine where I have one, otherwise an hourly estimate. It's valid for 14 days.

  3. You say yes by email.

    Then we pick a day.

  4. On site.

Before I change anything, I photograph every settings page and back the machine up to USB. Then I do the work.

  5. Report.

One for each machine: what I did, what I changed, anything that worries me. With photos.

  6. Invoice.

A tax invoice when the job's done. Payment within 7 days by bank transfer.

Why me

I started out building these machines.

I was building and installing them before I ever serviced one. Servicing a machine teaches you the symptoms. Building one teaches you how it's meant to fit together.

Any machine.

Some I know inside out. The rest I learn, and the work gets quicker each time I see them.

Same technician, every visit.

It's my business and I do the work. Whoever answers your email is the one who turns up. The longer I look after your machine, the better I know it, which counts on the day it stops.

It's all written down.

A report for every machine, with photos, so you know what was done and what to keep an eye on.

Nothing to sell you.

I don't sell machines. Whatever the machine needs goes in the report, and that's the end of it.

Where I work

I work across South East Queensland, on site at your workshop. Further afield by arrangement.

  • Travel. Priced by zone, and on the quote before you say yes.
  • Further out? For regional Queensland and further into NSW I plan a trip twice a year and line the jobs up along the way. Get on the list and I'll let you know when I'm heading your way.
